This is a great alternative to the dog park, which is fun for many well-socialized adult dogs, but can cause a lot of trouble in young puppies and under-socialized dogs (both medically and behaviorally). These sessions are carefully supervised so that every pup can have a successful session. This is NOT a free for all type of play. Passing this test is the first step required by many therapy dog organizations in order to do that type of training. Human graduates of this class are proud, responsible dog owners who have excellent control of their canine companions. There is no travel involved for you and there is less excitement/stress/distraction for your dog due to not having a new person in the house during training. We work with one of our dogs to demonstrate behaviors as needed and coach you and give feedback while you work with your dog. We will still send you the same follow up email with time tested handouts and notes for you to work on with your dog after the session.
